Grenada, Miss. (August 3, 2011) – The Grenada Community Foundation announced today that it has been selected by Gifts in Kind International to participate in Framing Hope, a product donation program by The Home Depot for nonprofit organizations to directly benefit the communities they serve.
Under the program, the Grenada Community Foundation has been matched with The Home Depot and will be receiving products no longer available for sale. Sabrina Howell, Grenada Community Foundation board member, explains: “The products we receive will be donated to various projects and charities in Grenada and will aid people in need within our own community. We are excited about the opportunity to bring this additional resource to the people of Grenada.”
The Grenada Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life for all residents by building a stronger, more vibrant community in the greater Grenada area. Its board of directors includes Deborah Bailey, Pablo Diaz, Sabrina Howell, and Bob McGuffin.
