Grenada, Miss. (August 6, 2010) – The Hampton Inn & Suites of Grenada was recently named the first recipient of the Bumble Bee Award given by the Grenada Community Foundation as part of its Harrambee Program. Harrambee, which literally means “all pull together” in Swahili, is a program created by the Grenada Community Foundation to recognize people in the community who excel in their dedication and commitment to community improvement.
The Grenada Community Foundation, incorporated October 2009, is a nonprofit corporation, seeking to identify and advance initiatives to help sustain, grow, and improve the lives of the citizens of Grenada County and its surroundings.
Sunny Sethi , owner of the Grenada Hampton Inn and Suites, received the award on behalf of the Hampton Inn and Suites staff. “We are honored to be a part of the positive change taking place in Grenada and will continue to work hard to ensure that everyone who visits our facility is treated with the greatest respect and service.”
