Father’s Day

Anyone can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a daddy. – Anonymous.   Hummm, well said. woods9853web_4x

Dads are those influences in your life that you turn to when you need advice.  Dads are there for their children’s activities and encourage them to be true to themselves.  Dads teach their children to love the Lord and treat others like they want to be treated.

Sunday is father’s day.  This day means different things to everyone.  For those who have lost their dad, it is a bittersweet day.  For those who live close enough to visit their dad, it is a day to talk and catch up.

Sunday is also a day when people give gifts to show love and appreciation for their dads.  If you are at a loss as to what to give, consider a gift, like your dad; someone that is always giving. Give the gift that keeps his values or legacy going through a donation to the Grenada Community foundation  in honor or memory of your dad.   GCF is like a dad. The GCF’s programs are there to strengthen and encourage the children of the Grenada area.  Make your donation online at www.grenadacf.org or by mail to Grenada Community Foundation, 81 S Church Street, Grenada, MS 38901.
